state patrol was lurking, but I wasn't going much over the limit anyway. Still, I got pulled over. I was stopped for no front plate. The cop asked to see my driver's license and I handed him a credit card instead; force of habit I guess. He handed it back to me and, if IIRC, I handed him another one. At that point, if I was him, I would have asked me to get out of the car for a sobriety test. However, even though it took me a while to get my license to him, the exchange remained friendly and mutually respectful. I wasn't cited or given a warning ticket.
